Nancy Williams set up The Studio in December 1999 to provide a service to children, adolescents and their families, that is complementary to the clinical diagnosis of ADHD. The aim of The Studio is to offer a relaxed and therapeutic environment for the sharing of personal and emotional problems, to enhance clients self esteem, and to advise on coping and management techniques. Whilst initially specialising in adolescent support, experience has highlighted the need to offer awareness and guidance at an earlier age, and referrals are now taken from the age of nine.
